The French Circle

The French Circle is a friendly and informal group of people who share an interest in French language and culture. It meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 19.30 and there is plenty of French conversation. They have the occasional French visitor, watch a video of a current French news broadcast, offer prepared pieces in French and have general group discussions.

Although the French Circle is not part of Ashby/Pithiviers Town Twinning Association many French Circle members belong to the Association but some do not. They also have members from all around the area.

New members are always made most welcome and a high standard of fluency in French is not required as there is a whole range of language ability amongst members. The object of the group is to help all members improve their standard of French in a pleasant, conducive atmosphere.
